Pierce Holt Hitchins of Zionsville, passed away on March 10, 2019. He was born on May 18, 1996 to Owen and Dorothy Hitchins.
He is survived by his brother Patrick of Cincinnati, OH, his sister Claire of Nashville, TN, Grandfather Lawrence Hitchins, Aunt Stephanie Lerew of Sewickley, PA, and many Powers Aunts, Uncles, and cousins in St. Louis, MO.
Pierce studied abroad near Antwerp, Belgium, learning Dutch and French and gaining a thirst for travel and adventure.
He longed to return to his beloved Europe, enjoyed geopolitical conversations, cultural exchanges, eating sushi, drinking a great beer, and making connections wherever he was.
Pierce was unlike anyone else. He never knew a stranger and could walk in to any room and light that room, making connections and friends with everyone in it.
Nobody could see the best in another person quite like Pierce, his ability to engage with all people- including babies and animals is legendary.
He passionately loved music and music festivals and looked forward to purchasing a Gypsy Caravan and traveling to many of them in the future.
Pierce’s soul shined so bright it will continue to shine upon us, never dimming, never changing.
